Galaxy Unpacked Event to be the Venue for the Unveiling

Samsung's annual Galaxy Unpacked event will be held on July 9th. At this event, the company plans to launch its flagship foldable phones, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7, along with a Fan Edition Flip phone for the first time. This information has emerged through certification websites, Geekbench scores, and now the EPREL listing.

Design and Display: Minor Differences Expected

The Galaxy Z Flip FE is expected to resemble the existing Flip 7 in terms of its appearance. The phone will feature a 6.7-inch main display and a 3.4-inch cover screen. Its clamshell design will be similar to previous models. The phone will be 13.7mm thick when folded and 6.5mm thick when unfolded. With an IP48 rating, the phone will also offer protection against dust and water.

Processor and Performance

According to leaked reports, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip FE may be equipped with the Exynos 2500 processor, Samsung's in-house chipset. This processor is known for better performance and battery efficiency. The phone scored 2012 in single-core and 7563 in multi-core on Geekbench, indicating its powerful performance.

RAM and Storage Options

The Galaxy Z Flip FE could launch in two storage variants – 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. Some reports also mention a 12GB RAM version, although this may be limited to select markets.

Camera Features: Special Emphasis

This affordable foldable phone from Samsung could come with a dual rear camera setup, with both cameras featuring 12MP sensors. Additionally, the phone will have a 12MP front in-display camera, which will enhance selfies and video calls. Samsung has always given special attention to camera quality, so the camera output is expected to be excellent in this phone as well.

Battery and Charging

The Galaxy Z Flip FE may feature a 4300mAh battery, considered a significant upgrade for this series. Fast charging support is also rumored to be available. The company's experience with battery performance in previous foldables may benefit this cheaper variant.

New Software Interface

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip FE may come with OneUI 8 based on Android 16. Samsung's OneUI interface is considered user-friendly and is customized specifically for foldable devices. Features like multitasking and screen divide have been revamped and improved.

Price and Availability: Expected Details

According to leaked Korean and US pricing, the phone's price could be KRW 1 million, which is approximately ₹62,000. It will be launched in the mid-range foldable segment to allow more users to experience foldable technology.

Competition for the Flip FE

The Galaxy Z Flip FE could compete with foldables like the Motorola Razr 40 and Tecno Phantom V Flip, which are already present in the Indian market. Samsung's brand value, customer service, and software support set it apart and make it a b contender against these phones.

Have Listings Confirmed the Launch?

The Galaxy Z Flip FE has also been spotted in the EPREL (European Product Registry for Energy Labelling) listing. Additionally, the phone has been tested on Geekbench, where its specifications and performance scores were revealed. These listings have confirmed that the phone is soon to be launched.
