SBI CBO 2025: The State Bank of India (SBI) has extended the application deadline for its Circle Based Officer (CBO) recruitment 2025. Interested candidates can now apply online from June 21st to June 30th, 2025. To apply, candidates must visit the official SBI website at sbi.co.in.
Recruitment of 2964 Positions
This recruitment process will fill a total of 2964 Circle Based Officer positions. The previous application deadline of May 29th, 2025, has been extended to June 30th, 2025. This provides an opportunity for candidates who were unable to apply earlier.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must hold a Graduation degree or Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) from a recognized Indian university. Candidates with professional qualifications such as Medical, Engineering, Chartered Accountancy, or Cost Accountancy are also eligible.
Age Limit
The minimum age for applying for the Circle Based Officer position is 21 years, and the maximum age is 30 years. Age relaxation will be provided to reserved categories as per regulations:
- Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates will receive a 5-year relaxation.
- Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates will receive a 3-year relaxation.
Selection Process
Candidate selection will be conducted in four stages:
Written Examination – This will consist of 120 questions for 120 marks. Subjects will include English Language, Banking Knowledge, General Awareness/Economics, and Computer Aptitude.
Descriptive Test – This 30-minute paper will be for 50 marks and will assess letter writing and essay writing skills.
Screening Test – Eligible candidates will be identified through scrutiny of applications.
Interview and Local Language Test – An interview will be conducted along with an assessment of the candidate's proficiency in the local language.

Application Fee
General, OBC, and EWS category candidates will have to pay approximately ₹750 as an application fee.
No fee will be charged from SC, ST, and PwBD candidates.
