SBI PO Mains Result 2025: The State Bank of India (SBI) Probationary Officer (PO) Mains examination 2025 was conducted on September 15, 2025. Approximately one month has passed since the examination concluded, and candidates are now awaiting the Mains results. According to media reports, SBI may soon release the results online on its official website sbi.co.in.
After the results are released, candidates will be able to check their scorecard online using their login details. Offline results will not be made available to any candidate.
Psychometric Test Mandatory After Mains Exam
Candidates who clear the SBI PO Mains examination will have to appear for a psychometric test, which includes Group Discussion and Personal Interview, for final selection.
Only candidates who achieve the prescribed cutoff marks in the main examination will be considered qualified for this stage.
The final list will be prepared based on performance in the psychometric test and interview. Only candidates included in the final list will be appointed under the recruitment process.

Candidates can follow the steps given below to download the SBI PO Mains examination scorecard.
- First, visit the official website sbi.co.in.
- On the website's homepage, navigate to the Career section and click on the result-related link.
- Now, log in by entering your registration number, password, and captcha code.
- After logging in, your scorecard will appear on the screen.
- You can check it and also take a printout.
Through this process, candidates can easily download their scorecard and keep it safe for future reference.
Recruitment Details
A total of 541 posts will be filled through the SBI PO 2025 recruitment. Out of these, 500 posts are for regular recruitment, and 41 posts are reserved for backlog.
The distribution of posts by category is as follows:
- General Category: 203 posts
- OBC Category: 135 posts
- EWS (Economically Weaker Section) Category: 50 posts
- SC (Scheduled Caste) Category: 37 posts
- ST (Scheduled Tribe) Category: 75 posts

Bond Regulations at the Time of Joining
- Selected candidates will be required to execute a bond of INR 2 Lakhs at the time of joining.
- If any candidate leaves the job within 3 years, this amount will be forfeited.
- Upon completion of 3 years of service, the bond amount will be returned.
- Thereafter, candidates will be free to resign from their service.
- This rule has been implemented in the interest of both the bank and the candidate to ensure stable and reliable appointments.
