To crack down on the network of gangsters and their associates, joint teams of the District Police, ATS Jaipur, AGTF Jaipur, and ANTF Jaipur conducted a major checking operation in Sikar district. Under the campaign, several suspicious locations were searched, and the activities of people connected to the gangster network were thoroughly investigated.
Superintendent of Police Praveen Nayak Nunawat stated that the objective of the campaign is to put pressure on criminal elements and identify active gangs in the district. He informed that the teams conducted search operations at the residences of gangsters, which is likely to yield several important clues.
Joint Operation of 150 Personnel from ATS-AGTF
To crack down on the gangster network in Sikar district, police launched a large-scale raid operation. This action involved 500 officers and personnel from Sikar Police, along with approximately 150 officers and personnel from teams of ATS Jaipur, AGTF Jaipur, and ANTF Jaipur. During the operation, the homes and hideouts of active criminals associated with gangsters, their followers, and those directly or indirectly assisting them were searched.
Police interrogated several youths who follow gangsters on social media or were found to be in contact with them. The mobile phones and digital data of suspects were also examined to gather information related to the network. This comprehensive campaign is considered a significant police action towards controlling crime and gang activities in Sikar.
Search Operation Underway in Every Police Station Area
Sikar Police has launched a major operation against criminals in every police station area of the district. During this, police teams are conducting surprise inspections to apprehend history-sheeters, absconding accused, and those possessing illegal weapons. According to officials, this action is being carried out on the instructions of police headquarters to get to the root of crime. During searches at several locations, objectionable items, weapons, and suspicious documents were also seized.
Additionally, the police have kept a strict watch on networks involved in drug trafficking. Special blockades have been set up in the border areas of the district to prevent any kind of illegal activity. The police stated that this campaign will not be limited to arrests only, but the properties and financial sources of gangsters and their associates will also be investigated to eradicate the root of crime.
