Sultanpur hosted the Shohada-e-Islam Conference and Urs with large public participation. Religious scholars emphasised the importance of education, social harmony and moral values during the event.

Addressing the gathering, chief speaker Maulana Saifullah Alimi urged young people to pursue modern education while embracing religious and moral values. He said education should become the greatest strength of today's youth.

Maulana Saifullah Alimi said the progress of society is possible when young people attain higher education and secure positions in prestigious public services, including the IAS, IPS and other administrative posts. He called on youth to work towards their goals with hard work, discipline and positive thinking.

He said education is not only a means of employment but also the most effective path to serving society and the nation. He urged young people to prepare for competitive examinations while paying equal attention to their character, conduct and social responsibilities, adding that any goal can be achieved through dedication and perseverance.

Other ulema and speakers at the conference also highlighted the importance of social harmony, mutual brotherhood and education. They appealed for the maintenance of peace, harmony and unity in society and urged young people to stay away from substance abuse, crime and social evils.

On the occasion of the Urs, devotees visited the dargah to offer ceremonial chadars and prayed for peace, prosperity and the country's progress. Necessary security and logistical arrangements were made by the local administration and the organising committee during the religious programmes.

People from different regions, social workers and local dignitaries also attended the event. Speakers said such programmes not only continue religious traditions but also provide an opportunity to strengthen education, social harmony and positive thinking in society.

The organisers said the annual event is regarded as a symbol of social and religious unity in the region. They stated that the large public participation this year contributed to the successful conduct of the programme, which concluded with prayers for peace, development and the well-being of society.
