Tejashwi Yadav launched a political attack on PM Modi's Bihar visit. On X, he targeted the BJP with sarcasm on issues like sugar mills, crime, mutton parties, and a barrage of promises, listing them in 11 points.
Bihar Politics: Preparations for the assembly elections in Bihar are underway, and in this connection, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in Motihari today to lay the foundation stone for development projects worth crores. However, opposition leader and Leader of the Opposition, Tejashwi Yadav, has launched a b attack on the BJP government on Twitter (X) regarding this visit, accusing them of being power-hungry and engaging in alleged hypocrisy.
Tejashwi's barrage of allegations in 11 points
Tejashwi has broadcast 11 allegations against PM Modi, including references to sugar mill promises, failure to control crime, 'Jungle Raj', a barrage of promises, expensive rally expenses, teleprompter drama, and religiously-limited debates. According to him, this visit seems to be just a facade and part of a publicity stunt.
'Torrential rain of promises'
In one point, Tejashwi wrote that the PM will 'talk so much that even Lord Indra will be ashamed'. This sarcasm is focused on corruption and lack of reality - which seems to be merely sponsored rhetoric to appease the opposition.
Expensive rally and 'Political Science' class
Tejashwi said that Modi and the BJP will spend heavily on election campaigning, hold expensive rallies, and teach pure 'political science' for two days. His implication is that the real plan of the rally is just to prepare to return to Delhi, while the common people of Bihar do not benefit from this expenditure.
'Uncontrolled crime and Jungle Raj'
Tejashwi has blamed the current government, rather than previous governments, for the increasing crime and 'Jungle Raj' situations in Bihar. He says that the BJP is relying more on fear-mongering politics than working on crime and development.
Targeting the opposition and appeasement issues
Tejashwi has also pointed to the use of words like 'Lalu Prasad', 'RJD', 'Muslim', which he believes are conspiracies to make them electoral factors. He states that the BJP will try to create polarization and a communal atmosphere with such issues.
Champaran visit under scrutiny
Tejashwi Yadav has alleged that PM Modi's visit is just a strategy to reinforce his b vote bank in the Champaran region. In 2020, the BJP-NDA won 15 out of 17 seats here. He claims that the same electoral intentions will be seen once again from Motihari.
