During the Bihar elections 2025, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has made a big announcement. He stated that after coming to power, they would ensure one government job in every household where no government employee currently exists.
Patna: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, Tejashwi Yadav, made a major announcement at a press conference in Patna, precisely one day before the Bihar elections 2025. He declared that every family in Bihar where no government servant currently exists would be provided with a government job.
Tejashwi described this announcement as “revolutionary” and stated that this is only his first declaration, with more significant promises to be unveiled later. He asserted that an RJD government would implement this scheme by bringing in an act within twenty days of its formation, executing it in a scientific and data-based manner.
Plan to Provide Jobs Instead of Unemployment Allowance
Targeting the current government, Tejashwi Yadav remarked that those who are merely talking about providing unemployment allowance today have failed to deliver actual jobs. He reminded that during the previous government, the RJD had provided five lakh jobs in 17 months, and now his plan would offer sustained employment opportunities to unemployed youth.
He further stated that the distribution of government jobs would be carried out with social and economic justice, aiming for change and rejuvenation in Bihar. Tejashwi assured that this scheme would not be limited to mere announcements but is practical and implementable.
Method of Scheme Implementation
Tejashwi Yadav explained that a scientific approach and data-driven techniques would be adopted to implement the scheme. The RJD already possesses the data and eligibility details for every family, ensuring that no deserving household is deprived of this scheme.
He stated that the scheme aims for equal opportunities and job creation. This initiative will not be limited to providing jobs but will also offer new employment and social justice opportunities for the youth of Bihar.
Recalling Achievements of the Previous Government
Tejashwi Yadav recounted the achievements of his previous tenure. He mentioned that five lakh jobs were provided in 17 months. Despite this, he believes that complete satisfaction was not achieved, and now his objective is to create employment on a larger scale.
He accused the current government of focusing only on allowances and incomplete declarations, whereas the RJD's focus is on concrete and sustainable job creation. He further stated that his scheme is entirely feasible and practical.
