Tati Rama Rao and his wife Tati Govardhana, residents of Nacharam village, had a love marriage a few years ago. They married out of their own free will, not with the consent of their families. According to villagers, Rama Rao suspected that his wife was having an illicit affair with another person. This suspicion had soured their marital life. Police were also stunned
Upon reaching the police station and confessing to killing his wife, Rama Rao left the police stunned. The police immediately informed higher authorities and rushed to the scene.
Alongside the police team, a FSL (Forensic Science Lab) team also arrived at the scene. The team collected evidence from the crime spot, took possession of the body, and sent it to a government hospital for post-mortem.
