Three New Mutual Fund Offers (NFOs) Launching in Early September

Three new Mutual Fund Offers (NFOs) will be launched in the first fortnight of September - Union Diversified Equity All Cap Active FoF, Baroda BNP Paribas Business Conglomerates Fund, and Bandhan BSE India Sector Leaders Index Fund. All schemes are open-ended equity funds, with a minimum investment of ₹1,000, and are categorized as "Very High Risk" on the riskometer.

Upcoming NFOs: The beginning of September is bringing three new investment options for mutual fund investors. These NFOs, launching between September 1 and September 17, 2025, are based on different strategies. Union Diversified Equity All Cap Active Fund of Fund (September 1-15) will fall under the flexi-cap category, while Baroda BNP Paribas Business Conglomerates Fund (September 2-15) will focus on large business houses. Bandhan BSE India Sector Leaders Index Fund (September 3-17) will offer an opportunity for index-based investment. The objective of all three schemes is long-term capital appreciation.

Union Diversified Equity All Cap Active Fund of Fund

Union Asset Management Company is launching the Union Diversified Equity All Cap Active Fund of Fund on September 1, 2025. This is an open-ended equity flexi-cap fund. Investors can invest in it until September 15. The minimum investment limit in this scheme has been set at Rs 1,000.

This fund does not have a lock-in period, but if an investor withdraws money within one year, they will have to pay a 1 percent exit load. The fund managers for this scheme are Gaurav Chopra and Pratik Dharamshi. The benchmark for this fund is BSE 500 TRI, and it has been placed in the very high risk category.

The objective of this scheme is long-term capital appreciation. This fund will primarily invest in other equity funds and will include funds based on different market caps. Its asset allocation strategy will be based on a Fund of Fund structure.

Baroda BNP Paribas Business Conglomerate Fund

The second NFO is being launched by Baroda BNP Paribas Mutual Fund. Its name is Baroda BNP Paribas Business Conglomerates Fund. This is an open-ended equity thematic fund. The subscription period for this fund will be from September 2 to September 15, 2025.

Investors can start investing in this as well with a minimum of Rs 1,000. There is no lock-in period in this scheme. However, if an investor sells more than 10 percent of their units within one year, they will have to pay a 1 percent exit load.

Jitendra Sriram and Kushant Arora are the fund managers for this scheme. The benchmark for this fund is BSE Select Business Groups TRI, and it has also been placed in the very high risk category on the riskometer.

The objective of this fund is to invest in large business conglomerates of India. These are groups that operate in multiple sectors simultaneously. In this way, investors will be able to benefit from the prospects of multiple industries through a single fund.

Bandhan BSE India Sector Leaders Index Fund

The third NFO is being brought by Bandhan Mutual Fund. Its name is Bandhan BSE India Sector Leaders Index Fund. This is an open-ended equity thematic fund. The subscription period for this fund will be from September 3 to September 17, 2025.

Investment in this scheme can also be started with a minimum of Rs 1,000. There is no lock-in period in this fund, but if investors redeem within 15 days, they will have to pay a 0.25 percent exit load.

Abhishek Jain will manage this scheme. The benchmark for this fund is BSE India Sector Leaders TRI, and it has been placed in the very high risk category.

This scheme will attempt to track the performance of the BSE India Sector Leaders Index. That is, it will invest in companies that play a leading role in their respective sectors.

Special Opportunity for Investors

These three NFOs, launching in the first two weeks of September, bring special opportunities for investors. The minimum investment in these is just Rs 1,000, allowing even small investors to connect with the possibilities of the equity market.

While the Union Diversified Equity All Cap Active Fund of Fund offers diversified investments across various market caps, the Baroda BNP Paribas Business Conglomerates Fund provides an opportunity to invest in large business houses.
