Trump's Iran Nuclear Claims Debunked by Leaked Intelligence

Trump Claimed Iran’s Nuclear Sites Were Destroyed, But Leaked Intelligence Reveals Otherwise

Iran-Israel Ceasefire: The recent ceasefire between Iran and Israel has now become a new issue in international politics. Former U.S. President Donald Trump claimed to have played a decisive role in this cessation of hostilities. However, shortly after, a leaked intelligence report has cast doubt on his other assertions. According to the report, Iran’s nuclear capabilities have not been completely eliminated, as Trump initially claimed.

Trump’s Claim and Pentagon Information

Recently, former President Trump publicly stated that the United States had completely destroyed all of Iran’s nuclear facilities, calling it “the most successful military operation in history.” Shortly after his statement, Pentagon spokesperson Sean Parnell indicated that the U.S. had dropped approximately 30,000 pounds – roughly 13,607 kilograms – of bombs on Iran’s nuclear sites. The objective was to halt Iran’s uranium enrichment activities.

New York Times Report and Intelligence Documents

However, a report published in *The New York Times* did not confirm this claim. Citing leaked U.S. intelligence information, the report states that Iran’s nuclear capabilities have not been entirely destroyed. According to the report, while the attacks may have slowed down Iran’s uranium enrichment process, it has not been completely shut down. This contradicts Trump’s statements, creating confusion on the international stage.

Trump Calls Report “Fake News”

Former President Trump dismissed the report on social media, writing that anyone claiming that Iran’s nuclear sites still exist is lying. Trump stated that the operation was the most successful military strike in American history and that all of Iran’s main facilities had been eliminated.

Trump’s Displeasure Over Ceasefire Violations

Trump has also expressed b disapproval regarding violations of the ceasefire between Iran and Israel. He criticized the recent military actions by both countries, warning that they could jeopardize a fragile truce.

Speaking to the media in Washington, Trump said that both sides must now calm down. He stated, “Everything I’ve seen is completely unacceptable. Neither Israel’s attack is right, nor is Iran’s retaliatory action. This is a ridiculous situation and it threatens peace.”
