In Prayagraj, two youths were apprehended on Sunday for appearing in the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) in place of other candidates. One of the accused was Omprakash, a resident of Durg, Chhattisgarh, while the other was identified as Aryan Singh from Ballia.

Both were present at different examination centers. Omprakash was caught during biometric verification in the second shift at K.P. Jaiswal Inter College in Mutthiganj. Although his initial biometric match was correct, later verification revealed that he had impersonated someone in a competitive examination two years prior. Aryan Singh was apprehended at Hemwant Nandan Bahuguna Government Degree College, Naini, when discrepancies were found during biometric verification. Forged documents and a mobile phone were recovered from his possession.

A case has been registered against both of them based on a complaint filed by the Static Magistrate.
