UCO Bank has initiated a recruitment process to fill 173 Specialist Officer positions across multiple professional domains. The recruitment covers roles in credit, risk, treasury, chartered accountancy, information technology, and data-related functions. The recruitment is being undertaken for various UCO Bank branches across India. According to the notification, the hiring is aimed at strengthening the bank’s technical and financial systems and improving the quality of its digital and professional services.
The 173 vacancies span multiple profiles, including Credit Officer, Risk Officer, Treasury Officer, Chartered Accountant, IT Officer, Software Developer, Cyber Security Officer, Network Engineer, Data Analyst, and Data Scientist. These positions are linked to the bank’s operational and technical systems, and candidates are expected to possess professional skills and experience relevant to their respective domains.
Educational qualifications vary by post. The Chartered Accountant position requires a CA qualification. IT and technical roles require degrees such as B.Tech, B.E, MCA, or an equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline. Finance and management roles may require an MBA or an equivalent qualification, as specified for the respective posts.
The minimum age for applicants is 20 years and the maximum age is 35 years. Age relaxation will be applicable for candidates from reserved categories in accordance with government norms.
For the Specialist Officer recruitment, candidates from the General, OBC, and EWS categories are required to pay an application fee of approximately Rs 800. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, and persons with disabilities categories are required to pay an application fee of approximately Rs 175. The fee must be paid through online modes only.
The selection process includes an online examination followed by an interview or group discussion for certain posts, while for some positions selection may be based solely on an interview. The final merit list will be prepared based on performance and interview scores, as applicable.
