UP Assembly Monsoon Session: The Uttar Pradesh Assembly's monsoon session is commencing today in Lucknow. This session will last for four days, but its most notable feature is that the Assembly proceedings will run continuously for 24 hours on one of the days. During this time, state ministers will present their respective departments' vision documents.

Detailed Discussion on Vision Document on August 13

On August 13, the vision document will be discussed in detail in both houses. This discussion will consider the state's development outline, possibilities for improvement in various sectors, and future plans. This is the first time such a lengthy and detailed debate will be held in the UP Assembly.

Appeal for Cooperation in All-Party Meeting

Prior to the session's start, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath participated in an all-party meeting chaired by Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana on Sunday. Leaders from all parties were invited to this meeting.

Assembly Speaker Mahana appealed to all leaders to cooperate in running the session smoothly. He stated that dialogue and positive discussion in the parliamentary system are essential for strengthening democracy. He requested everyone to express their views while adhering to parliamentary decorum.

Chief Minister's Vision

In the meeting, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the Uttar Pradesh Assembly is becoming a center of attraction for other states in the country due to technical innovations. He emphasized that meaningful discussions on issues related to public interest should take place in the House.

The Chief Minister stated that this will be the first assembly to have a detailed discussion on the 'Vision Document.' Suggestions from all parties will be included in it for the all-round development of the state. He clarified that this is not a political party's agenda but a shared blueprint for the future of the state.

Initiative Linked to the 'Developed India 2047' Goal

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna said that this discussion is a historic opportunity, keeping in mind Prime Minister Narendra Modi's goal of 'Developed India 2047'. He said that until now, members used to talk about the issues of their respective regions, but this debate will determine the direction of the entire state's development.

Opposition's Cooperation and Suggestions

Leader of the Opposition Mata Prasad Pandey said that he would extend all possible cooperation for the development of the state. Congress Legislature Party leader Aradhana Mishra 'Mona' demanded that there should be a long and serious discussion on the Vision Document so that more and more suggestions could be received. She said that this process would lead to the formulation of solid and universally accepted policies for the future of the state.

However, during the session, the opposition may corner the government on some issues. These include subjects related to the merger of schools and the privatization of electricity. There is a possibility of uproar in the House on these issues.

Process of Presenting the Vision Document

The vision document to be presented by the ministers will contain details of each department's future plans, development work priorities, and goals. Its objective is to take the state to new heights in terms of social, economic, and infrastructure in the coming years.
