UP JEECUP Counselling 2025: The first round of counseling for the Uttar Pradesh Polytechnic Entrance Examination (JEECUP) 2025 concluded on July 7th. The second phase is now beginning for students who did not receive a seat in the first round. The second round will start on July 9, 2025, and the choice filling process will continue until July 11th. Seat allotment will be announced on July 12th.
Dates and Stages of the 2nd Round of Counselling
Choice Filling (for UP state students only): From July 9th to July 11, 2025, students can fill their choices through the online portal. During this period, they will have the option to select their preferred colleges and courses.
Seat Allotment: The seat allotment result for the second round will be declared on July 12, 2025. Students can check their seat allotment by logging into the portal with their registration number and password.
Selection of Freeze/Float Option, Fee Payment
Students who are satisfied with their allotted seat can choose the "freeze" option, while those hoping for a better seat in subsequent rounds can opt for "float." For this, a security deposit of ₹3000 and a counseling fee of ₹250, totaling ₹3250, must be paid between July 13th and July 15, 2025.
Document Verification: Candidates who have frozen their seats must get their documents verified at the District Help Centers from July 14th to July 16, 2025. Verification can be completed until 6 PM.
Last Date to Withdraw Seat: If a student does not wish to accept the seat for any reason, they can withdraw their seat by July 17, 2025. In such cases, the fees will be refunded.
3rd Round Information
After the second round of counseling is completed, the third round of counseling will be conducted from July 18th to August 1, 2025. Students who did not get a seat in the first two rounds or who withdrew their seat will be able to participate in this round.
Possibilities of 4th and 5th Rounds
The fourth round of counseling will be held from July 28th to August 5, 2025, while the final, i.e., the fifth round, will be completed between August 6th and August 14, 2025. Students from states other than Uttar Pradesh can also participate in these two rounds.
Application Fee Details
Students have to deposit a security fee of ₹3000 and a processing fee of ₹250, totaling ₹3250, to finalize their choices and freeze or float their seat. If a student does not accept the seat for any reason and withdraws within the stipulated time, their fee will be refunded.
