UP JEECUP Counseling to Begin on June 27, 2025
The Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Council (JEECUP) counseling process for admission to polytechnic courses will commence on June 27, 2025. The Uttar Pradesh Directorate of Technical Education has released a detailed schedule for the process. Candidates who have successfully cleared the JEEसीयूपी exam are now eligible to register for admission according to the established procedures.
Counseling Process Spread Over Five Rounds
This year’s counseling will be conducted across a total of five rounds. The first three rounds will be exclusively for Uttar Pradesh students, while rounds four and five will allow students from other states to participate. Candidates are required to complete the mandatory processes of choice filling, document verification, and seat allocation within the specified deadlines.
Registration for Round 1 Starts June 27
Registration for the first round of counseling will begin on June 27, 2025, and will be open to candidates from Uttar Pradesh. This process will continue until July 2, 2025. Seat allocation for the first round is scheduled for July 3, 2025. Following seat allocation, candidates will have a period between July 4 and 6 to choose between freezing or floating their seats, along with depositing the security fee and counseling fee. Document verification for frozen candidates will be conducted between July 4 and 7.
Second Round Begins July 9
The second round of counseling will commence on July 9, 2025, and will also be open to students from Uttar Pradesh. The last date for choice filling is July 11. Seat allocation is scheduled for July 12, followed by the deposit of freeze/float options and fees between July 13 and 15. Document verification will be conducted between July 14 and 16. The last date for withdrawing a seat is July 17.
Third Round for Uttar Pradesh Students Only
The third round of counseling will begin on July 18, 2025, and will continue until August 1, 2025. This round will be exclusively for students from Uttar Pradesh. Students who were unable to secure a seat or make changes in the first two rounds can participate in this stage.
Fourth and Fifth Rounds for All States
Following the completion of the first three rounds, students from other states will be able to participate in the remaining two rounds. The fourth round will be conducted from July 28 to August 5, 2025, and the fifth round from August 6 to August 14, 2025. The admission process for the remaining seats in these rounds will be completed.
Fees Payable
Candidates will need to pay a total fee of ₹3250 for the counseling process. This includes ₹3000 as a security deposit and ₹250 as the counseling fee. Payment can be made online. After freezing a seat, candidates will need to visit district support centers for document verification.
