Monsoon activity will remain active across Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday, with rain and thunderstorms expected in several districts of eastern Uttar Pradesh. According to UP Weather Today, monsoon activity will be more active in eastern Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday. Several districts, including Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Azamgarh and Sonbhadra, may receive rain accompanied by thunderstorms and intense showers. Heavy rainfall is also possible at some places.
Rainfall activity is expected to remain comparatively lower in western Uttar Pradesh. In Lucknow, cloudy conditions are likely throughout the day, with intermittent rainfall expected in several spells.
Weather activity in eastern Uttar Pradesh is expected to remain more active than in the western parts of the state. Rain is likely in several districts, including Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Azamgarh and Sonbhadra. Good rainfall was also recorded in Azamgarh, Varanasi and Sonbhadra on Tuesday.

Lucknow is likely to remain cloudy on Wednesday. Different parts of the city may receive intermittent rain and showers accompanied by thunderstorms. The weather forecast indicates that the city could experience more than one spell of rainfall during the day.
Several parts of Lucknow also received light to moderate rain on Tuesday. The rainfall is expected to limit any substantial rise in temperature.
Rainfall activity in western Uttar Pradesh is expected to remain lower than in Purvanchal. However, some areas may receive light showers accompanied by thunderstorms. The Meteorological Department has indicated that monsoon activity will continue across the state over the next few days.
Lucknow recorded a maximum temperature of around 30.4 degrees Celsius on Tuesday, which was 3.3 degrees below normal. Humidity in the city remained between 80 and 94 percent. Cloudy conditions and rainfall on Wednesday are also expected to limit any substantial rise in temperature.
Purvanchal may receive rainfall and heavy rain at some places, while Lucknow and central Uttar Pradesh are likely to experience cloudy conditions and spells of rain.
