The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has released the admit cards for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) of the UP Police Sub-Inspector (SI) Recruitment 2026. Candidates who qualified in the written examination can download their admit cards from the official portal using their registration number and date of birth.
According to the board, only candidates who have successfully cleared the written examination will be eligible to appear for the PET. The admit card contains details related to the examination centre, reporting time and other important instructions. Candidates have been advised to carefully read all instructions and carry a valid photo identity card to the examination centre.
As per the recruitment board’s schedule, the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will be conducted on June 29, June 30 and July 1, 2026, at designated centres across Uttar Pradesh. The PET is an important stage of the recruitment process as it evaluates the physical fitness and endurance of candidates.

Candidates who have cleared the written examination will now be required to meet the prescribed physical standards. Those who qualify in the PET will be considered eligible for the next stage of the recruitment process.
The Physical Efficiency Test includes separate running standards for male and female candidates. Male candidates must complete a 4.8-kilometre run within 28 minutes, while female candidates must complete a 2.4-kilometre run within 16 minutes.
The recruitment board has stated that only candidates meeting the prescribed standards will be considered successful in the PET.
The ongoing recruitment process aims to fill a total of 4,543 Sub-Inspector vacancies in the Uttar Pradesh Police Department. A large number of candidates have participated in the recruitment drive and are now preparing for the PET stage.
Candidates who successfully clear the PET will proceed to the subsequent stages of the selection process, following which the final selection list will be released.
