The application process for the teacher recruitment drive for 1262 posts in Uttar Pradesh has been extended due to server technical issues. The department had to revise the entire timeline as the portal was not functioning properly on time. Under the new schedule, candidates will now be able to apply comfortably, while details of posts falling vacant by 2026 have also been sought from the districts.
UP Teacher Recruitment: The application process for the recruitment of 1262 posts in non-governmental aided secondary schools of Uttar Pradesh has been changed due to technical problems. The online application, which was supposed to start from November 15, had to be halted due to server obstacles, after which the Secondary Education Department decided to issue a new timeline. This recruitment is for junior high schools across the state, where hundreds of posts are vacant for Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Science-Maths, and Social Studies subjects. The department has also sought information from all districts regarding potential vacancies up to 2026, so that future appointments can be completed on time.
Why were the application dates changed?
Due to continuous technical problems with the server, the application process, which was scheduled to begin on November 15, had to be paused. The department stated that the portal was not responding correctly, preventing a large number of applicants from submitting their applications. For this reason, the Secondary Education Department decided to extend the application timetable.
The revised result of the Junior High School Headmaster and Assistant Teacher Selection Examination 2021 was released in September 2022. Appointments are to be made in 2025 based on these results. It is hoped that the change in application dates will provide all candidates with sufficient time and proper technical facilities.
