Recruitment for 705 Posts

This year, a total of 705 medical officers will be recruited through the UPSC CMS examination. The application process for these posts has already been completed. Now, candidates are required to download their admit cards before the exam.

Exam Date and Time

The UPSC CMS 2025 examination will be held on Sunday, July 20, 2025. This examination will be conducted in two shifts at examination centers located in various cities across the country.

First Shift: 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM

Second Shift: 2 PM to 4 PM

How to Download UPSC CMS 2025 Admit Card

Candidates can follow the simple steps below to download their admit cards:

  • First, go to the official UPSC website, upsc.gov.in.
  • Click on the link for "e-Admit Card: CMS Examination 2025" on the homepage.
  • On the new page, log in by entering your roll number, registration number, date of birth, and password.
  • After logging in, the admit card will be displayed on the screen.
  • Now, download it and take a printout for future reference.

Check the Information on the Admit Card

After downloading the admit card, candidates should ensure that all the information on it is correct. Specifically, check the following details:

  • Candidate's Name
  • Roll Number
  • Exam Date and Shift Time
  • Name and Address of the Examination Center
  • List of Instructions

Follow These Instructions Before the Exam

UPSC has provided some essential instructions for all candidates to follow when appearing for the exam. These include:

  • Candidates must reach the examination center at least 30-60 minutes before the scheduled time.
  • Entry into the examination center for the first shift will be allowed only until 9 AM.
  • Entry for the second shift will be allowed only until 1:30 PM.
  • Candidates are required to bring their admit card along with a valid photo ID.
  • Mobile phones, smart devices, calculators, etc., are not allowed in the examination hall.

Exam Pattern

The CMS exam consists of two parts:

Computer Based Test (CBT): This consists of two papers. Each paper is of 250 marks and the time limit is 2 hours.

Personality Test: Selected candidates are interviewed, which is of 100 marks.
