Government job recruitment notifications have been issued across Uttar Pradesh, the railway sector, and Bihar, with multiple vacancies announced and further hiring proposals under process.
The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has issued a notification for recruitment to 722 excise constable posts. The recruitment is open to candidates who have passed the PET 2025 examination.
The online application process will begin on June 4, 2026. Candidates have been advised to keep all required documents ready in advance to complete the application within the stipulated timeline.
Indian Railway Finance Corporation (IRFC) has announced recruitment for 23 posts, including assistant and assistant manager positions.
The application process will be conducted entirely online. Candidates with a graduate degree and a finance background are eligible to apply. The selection process will include a written examination, a skill test, and an interview, after which appointments will be made.
In Bihar, the Higher Education Department has sent a proposal for recruitment to more than 6,000 assistant professor posts. The proposal is currently under consideration with the Finance Department, and the recruitment process is expected to begin after cabinet approval.
Additionally, preparations are underway for recruitment to more than 2,500 non-teaching posts in state colleges. These appointments are aimed at strengthening the education and administrative framework in the state.
