USA Records Highest ODI Run Chase Against UAE as Milind Kumar Scores Unbeaten 116

USA chased 330 against UAE in Dallas to record their highest successful ODI run chase, with Milind Kumar scoring an unbeaten 116 and USA winning by 6 wickets.

The United States defeated the United Arab Emirates (UAE) by 6 wickets in the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup League 2 match in Dallas after successfully chasing a target of 330 runs. USA reached 331 runs in 48.5 overs, recording the highest successful run chase in the team's ODI history.

UAE scored 330 runs for 8 wickets in 50 overs after opting to bat first. USA's batters completed the chase with seven balls remaining.

Milind Kumar was the leading contributor in USA's successful chase, scoring an unbeaten 116 from 84 balls. His innings included five sixes and marked his fifth century in ODI cricket.

Kumar initially steadied the innings before accelerating the scoring rate and maintaining pressure on the UAE bowlers. He remained at the crease until the end of the innings as USA completed the target.

Shubham Ranjane provided support with an unbeaten 57. The pair added an unbroken 160-run partnership for the fifth wicket, taking USA from a difficult position to the target. USA completed the chase with seven balls remaining.

Kumar also became the batter with the most sixes for USA in men's ODI cricket. His five sixes in the match took his ODI tally to 38, moving him ahead of Monank Patel, who has 34 sixes. Aaron Jones is third on the list with 32 sixes.

USA's successful pursuit of 330 runs is the team's highest successful run chase in ODI cricket. Its previous highest successful chase was 294/7 against Nepal in Dallas in 2024.

The victory also moved USA to the top of the points table in the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup League 2.
