Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha: On Thursday, June 5th, 2025, a grand Pran Pratishtha (consecration) ceremony was held at the Ram Mandir complex in Ayodhya on the auspicious occasion of Ganga Dashahra. On this occasion, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath performed the ritualistic consecration of eight major deities, including the Ram Darbar. This program, conducted amidst Vedic chants, lasted from 11:25 AM to 11:40 AM.
This ceremony ensured the spiritual presence of the supplementary deities in the Ram Mandir, further enhancing the grandeur and religious sanctity of the temple.
Seven-Foot-Tall Ram Darbar Idol Becomes Center of Attraction
The establishment of the Ram Darbar was the main attraction of this event. The Ram Darbar idol, including the throne, is approximately seven feet tall.
- The throne is approximately three and a half feet high.
- The Sita-Ram idol is four and a half feet high.
- The total height, including the throne, is approximately seven feet.
In addition, the idols of Hanuman and Bharat are in a seated posture and are two and a half feet tall. The idols of Lakshman and Shatrughna are installed in a standing posture and are three feet tall each. This entire Ram Darbar has become a center of spiritual inspiration for devotees.

Along with the Ram Darbar, the consecration of Rameshwaram also took place in the Ram Mandir complex. This establishment of Rameshwaram highlights the historical connection emphasizing Lord Ram's journey to South India and his devotional tradition.
