Reports suggest that Amitabh Bachchan is considering stepping down from his role as host of "Kaun Banega Crorepati" (KBC). This raises the significant question of who will succeed him in hosting this popular reality show.

Entertainment Desk: Amitabh Bachchan has consistently hosted "Kaun Banega Crorepati" since 2000. However, reports indicate that the 82-year-old Big B is planning to relinquish his hosting duties. He previously hinted to Sony TV about his desire to step down. However, the lack of a suitable replacement has kept him associated with the show.
 
Amitabh Bachchan May Relinquish the KBC Host Position?

Amitabh Bachchan's influence extends beyond films; he has established a b presence on television as well. He has been the face of "Kaun Banega Crorepati" since 2000. However, recent reports suggest that Big B is planning to leave the show. According to a Moneycontrol report, the 82-year-old Amitabh Bachchan is considering reducing his workload.

He hinted to Sony TV during "KBC 15" that it might be his final season. However, as the channel hasn't found a suitable replacement yet, he continues to host "KBC 16".

Aishwarya Rai and Dhoni Also in the Running

A survey conducted by the Indian Institute of Human Brands (IIHB) and an advertising agency revealed that Shah Rukh Khan received the most votes out of 768 respondents. 408 men and 360 women participated in the survey, which identified Shah Rukh Khan as the best alternative to Amitabh Bachchan for hosting the show. Notably, Shah Rukh Khan previously hosted the third season of "KBC" in 2007.

Following Shah Rukh Khan in the survey was Amitabh Bachchan's daughter-in-law, Aishwarya Rai, in second place. Former cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni secured the third position. However, no official announcement has been made regarding the next host of "Kaun Banega Crorepati" yet.
