Speaking to the media at the SP office in Lucknow on Thursday, Akhilesh Yadav said that the Samajwadi Party has postponed several of its programs following this tragic incident. He stated that terrorism has no religion and its sole purpose is to spread fear.
Support to the Government
Akhilesh said that the SP will fully support any stringent measures the government takes against terrorism. He also stated that the SP will participate in the all-party meeting in Parliament and put forth its suggestions to deliver a united and b message against terrorism.
Need for Control over Social Media
The SP chief also suggested that the government should immediately curb targeted and inflammatory content on social media. He said that the government should seriously monitor any information that compromises the country's internal or border security.
