India's Operation Sindoor: Congress Leader Questions Effectiveness and International Support

Following the Pulwama attack, India launched Operation Sindoor, targeting and destroying terrorist bases in Pakistan. Congress leader Udit Raj stated that India failed to deliver a decisive blow to Pakistan and that the world is not standing with India on this issue.

Operation Sindoor: Following the Pulwama attack, India launched Operation Sindoor, targeting terrorist bases within Pakistan. This strike reportedly resulted in the deaths of numerous terrorists and garnered widespread praise for the Indian army's bravery. However, Congress leader Udit Raj has expressed a dissenting opinion regarding the operation's effectiveness. He claims India failed to deliver a significant lesson to Pakistan and that no country globally stands firmly with India on this matter.

Operation Sindoor and Udit Raj's Concerns

In the aftermath of the Pulwama attack, India reportedly destroyed numerous terrorist bases in Pakistan and Pakistan-administered Kashmir. It is believed that over 100 terrorists were killed in this operation. Many parts of the country hailed this action as a demonstration of the army's prowess.

However, in an interview with ANI, Congress leader Udit Raj argued that despite targeting terrorist bases, India failed to deliver a substantial blow to Pakistan. He stated, "Our operation was limited; there was bombing in one or two places, but other terrorist bases still exist."

Udit Raj: The World Isn't with India

Udit Raj also commented on the challenges posed by global politics. He said, "America is with Pakistan, and the entire world is on its side. Pakistan's atomic power also comes from America. The ISI largely controls Pakistan and continuously promotes terrorism."

He further argued that when the world isn't standing with India, actions like Operation Sindoor have limited impact. "What will sending delegations achieve when there's no widespread support for us?"

Government's All-Party Delegation

The central government, however, has formed an all-party delegation to address the issue. This delegation includes Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad, and MPs from various other parties. This delegation will travel abroad to advocate for India's position and highlight Pakistan's support for terrorism.
