Ram Mandir Revises Exit Route to Manage Reduced Pilgrim Numbers
Last Updated: 20 hour ago

A significant change is underway for devotees visiting the Ram Mandir. In response to a decline in the number of pilgrims, the temple administration has decided to revise the exit route.

Ayodhya: A crucial change is being implemented for devotees visiting the Ram Mandir. Due to a decrease in the number of pilgrims, the temple administration has decided to alter the exit route. Devotees of Ram Lalla will now enter the temple via the Ramjanmabhoomi Path, while the exit will be through the Angad Tila route.

Route to be Changed Following Reduced Crowds

Since the conclusion of the Maha Kumbh, there has been a notable decrease in the number of pilgrims visiting Ayodhya. While previously three to four lakh devotees visited daily to see Ram Lalla, this number has now dropped to two to two and a half lakh. Keeping this in mind, the administration has planned to reinstate the old exit route for pilgrims.

Until now, pilgrims entered through the Ramjanmabhoomi Path and exited through Gate Number Three. However, under the new plan, Gate Number Three will be closed, and the exit will be through the Angad Tila route. This change was decided upon after discussions between security department officials and the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.

Changes to the Darshan System

* Entry: Devotees will enter the temple through the Ramjanmabhoomi Path as before.
* Exit: After darshan, devotees will exit through the gate leading towards Angad Tila.
* Gate Number-3: This gate will be closed again to ensure a smooth and orderly exit for pilgrims.

Improved Crowd Management

Increasing the distance between the entry and exit routes will reduce congestion on the Ram Path and provide devotees with a more convenient darshan experience. SP Security Balramachar Dubey stated that if the number of devotees remains at this level, the new exit system will be implemented from Monday. By Saturday evening, over two lakh devotees had already visited Ram Lalla. The administration is constantly monitoring the number of devotees and making changes to the darshan system accordingly.

This change will allow devotees visiting the temple to have a shorter darshan experience and will also improve Ayodhya's traffic management. Devotees will find this new system more convenient, and crowd management within the temple complex will be improved.
