Warm Welcome at Palam Airbase
The Ministry of External Affairs has confirmed that Vice President Vance will arrive at Palam Air Force Station at 10:00 AM on April 21st, where he will receive a formal welcome from a senior Cabinet Minister of the Indian government. He will be accompanied by more than five senior officials from the US Department of Defense and State Department. Immediately after arriving in Delhi, Vance and his family will visit the Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple to experience Indian culture. Afterwards, they may also visit a shopping complex showcasing traditional handicrafts and artistry.
High-Level Talks with Prime Minister Modi
At 6:30 PM the same day, Vance and his family will arrive at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg, the official residence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. A comprehensive discussion is planned between the two leaders, covering crucial issues such as security, trade, investment, climate change, and mutual technological cooperation. The Indian delegation may include External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, and India's Ambassador to the US, Vinay Mohan Kwatra.
Following the meeting, Prime Minister Modi will host a special dinner for Vance and his team, offering a taste of diverse Indian cuisine.
Stay at ITC Maurya, then Jaipur
Vance will stay at the ITC Maurya Sheraton Hotel in Delhi, a preferred accommodation for foreign dignitaries. Late Monday night, he and his family will depart for Jaipur. On April 22nd, Vance will visit the historical Amer Fort, a symbol of Rajasthan's rich heritage and architectural beauty.
He will then address a dialogue session at the Rajasthan International Center, sharing his views on India-US relations, strategic cooperation, investment opportunities, and global democratic values.

Taj Mahal Visit in Agra on April 23rd
On the third day of his India visit, April 23rd, Vance and his family will travel to Agra, where they will visit the world-famous Taj Mahal. They will also visit 'Shilpgram,' a unique center showcasing Indian handicrafts, folk art, and culture.
The serene white marble and architecture of the Taj Mahal will provide Vance not only with a personal experience but also an opportunity to understand the cultural depth of India. From Agra, they will return to Jaipur in the evening.
Royal Stay at Rambagh Palace and Departure
In Jaipur, the US Vice President's stay is scheduled at the historic Rambagh Palace, once a royal residence and now a luxurious hotel. On April 24th, JD Vance and his family will conclude their India visit and depart for the US from Jaipur Airport.
Prior to this visit, Vance completed an official trip to Italy, with India being his next strategic stop, highlighting that South Asia remains a significant area in US foreign policy.
