A total of 649,490 candidates appeared for the exam this time, out of which candidates qualified in three different categories.

* For Assistant Professor: 5,158 candidates
* For Assistant Professor + PhD Admission: 48,161 candidates
* For PhD Admission: 114,445 candidates
How to Check UGC NET December 2024 Results
* Visit the official website ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
* Click on the "UGC NET December 2024 Result" link on the home page.
* Enter your application number, date of birth, and captcha code.
* Your scorecard will be displayed on the screen after clicking "Submit".
* Download and print the scorecard for future reference.
Final Answer Key Also Released
The NTA has also published the final answer key. Candidates can download it and match their answers. Note that no changes or objections will be accepted in the final answer key.
