Decline in Gold Futures Prices

Gold futures prices declined due to weakening global indicators. On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the February 2025 gold contract traded at ₹78,984 per 10 grams, reflecting a decrease of ₹242.

Decline in Silver Futures Prices

Silver futures prices also saw a decline. The March contract on MCX was priced at ₹92,049 per kilogram, showing a decrease of ₹754.

Impact on the Global Market

Globally, gold and silver prices also fell. In New York, gold was priced at $2,713.30 per ounce and silver at $30.65 per ounce, representing a decline of 0.04% and 0.52%, respectively.
