Neha Kakkar shared her ordeal in a lengthy Instagram post. She wrote, "People are saying I was 3 hours late, but no one asked what happened to me? The organizers didn't pay me or my team. My band didn't get a hotel, food, or even water. My husband Rohanpreet and his team went to arrange food, but even there, they found nothing."
The singer further stated that she performed for her Melbourne fans completely free of charge because they had waited for hours. Following Neha's revelation, people on social media have also come out in support of her.
Sound vendor also unpaid; show delayed for hours
Neha explained that the delay wasn't solely due to her late arrival but also the organizers' negligence. She said, "Our sound check was delayed for hours because the sound vendor hadn't been paid and refused to turn on the system. When the sound check finally began, we weren't even sure if the show would happen because the organizers weren't answering our calls."
