Following its re-release, the film is receiving immense love from audiences and is performing exceptionally well at the box office. Harshvardhan Rane, the film's lead actor, openly discussed the disappointment of its original release. He expressed regret over the film's lukewarm initial reception.

Harshvardhan Rane recently spoke openly to the media about the re-release of "Sanam Teri Kasam." He expressed his happiness at the film's current success and hoped that in 2025, the film would achieve the success it missed in 2016. The actor stated that there had been consistent demand from audiences to bring the film back to theaters.

He also recalled the days when the entire team was disheartened by the film's poor box office performance. He shared this experience using an interesting analogy: "It's like divorced parents remarrying, and their child feels happy. The film's re-release brings me that same joy," Harshvardhan said humorously.

He revealed that when the film didn't receive adequate promotion, he himself shouted outside the producer's office to ensure a better release. He expressed hope that "Sanam Teri Kasam" would this time achieve phenomenal earnings, similar to "Tumbbad" and "Laila Majnu."

The re-release of "Sanam Teri Kasam" has had a spectacular start at the box office. Advance bookings opened early, and there was tremendous enthusiasm among the audience. Before its release on February 7th, approximately 20,000 tickets had already been sold. According to media reports, by 4 PM on its opening day, the film had grossed ₹1.60 crore from PVR and INOX cinemas.
