During this time, he gifted a guitar to seven-year-old talented singer Esther Lalduhawmi Hamte and appreciated her patriotic rendition of 'Vande Mataram'.

Mizoram's young singer Esther Lalduhawmi Hamte came into the limelight in 2020 when her song 'Maa Tujhe Salaam' went viral on social media. Her voice and patriotic fervor gave her a distinct identity. She has received several awards from the Mizoram government and has also been specially commended by the Governor.

Amit Shah participated in the land transfer ceremony held to transfer Assam Rifles land to the Mizoram government. He appreciated the role of the Assam Rifles, stating that the force serves the people of Mizoram with principles of security and brotherhood.

He stated that this step is more than an administrative decision; it is a crucial step towards fulfilling the long-standing demand of the Mizo people.
