Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh News: Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former Member of Parliament, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, has received relief from the court in the sexual assault case filed by wrestlers. The Patiala House Court accepted the police's closure report. Singh has responded to the verdict and issued a warning to those he believes conspired against him.

Court Relief and Brij Bhushan's Reaction

Additional Sessions Judge Gomati Manocha of the Patiala House Court accepted the police's closure report, which stated that no concrete evidence was found in the case. Previously, the complainant and their family had also expressed satisfaction with the police investigation. Following the verdict, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh stated that he had received justice and warned those who conspired against him, saying, “You have all seen the fate of those who conspired.”

He also demanded an end to the misuse of laws, asserting that some individuals attempt to implicate others through legal misuse, a practice he believes should be stopped.

Political Implications and Reference to Haryana Elections

Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh also alluded to the Haryana Assembly election results, taking a jibe at former Chief Minister Bhupendra Singh Hooda. He remarked that Hooda was expected to become Chief Minister at 11 a.m., but neither did he become Chief Minister nor did he remain a mere spectator. He further described himself as a devotee of Hanuman, stating that those who do wrong will face the consequences of their actions.

Statement by Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh's Son

Following the court's decision, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh's son and MP, Karan Bhushan Singh, also released a statement. He declared the verdict a victory for justice and truth, emphasizing, "Truth may be troubled, but never defeated. Long live the judiciary, long live Netaji (leader)." This statement clearly indicates the family's complete satisfaction with the court's decision and their perception of it as a significant win.

Police Investigation and Closure Report

In this case, the police submitted a 550-page investigation report to the court. The report stated that no concrete evidence was found to support the allegations of sexual assault made by the minor wrestler. The investigating officer reported that the complainant and their family did not express any objections after the police investigation.

Furthermore, the court had summoned the wrestler who had accused Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh on May 17. The police closure report was filed on June 15, 2023, and the complainant did not oppose it. Later, on August 1, 2023, the complainant and their father expressed satisfaction with the investigation and raised no objections.
