The court questioned the Delhi Police about the steps they are taking against gangs involved in the abduction and trafficking of children within and outside Delhi.
Four-Week Deadline for Delhi Police
Giving the Delhi Police a four-week deadline, the Supreme Court stated, "Locating the kingpins of the gangs involved in child trafficking and the abducted infants is crucial. The police must inform the court about the progress." The Supreme Court warned, "These gangs pose a significant threat to society, and the buying and selling of children must be stopped."
Need for Strict Action in Child Trafficking Cases
Emphasizing the seriousness of the issue, the Supreme Court stated, "You don't know where these children end up, especially the girls. This is a serious situation, and it needs to be resolved as soon as possible."
