Haryana CM Flags Off Cyclothon 2.0 to Promote Drug-Free State

Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini flagged off Cyclothon 2.0 from Faridabad, sending it on its journey to Gurugram. The aim of the journey is to create a drug-free Haryana.

Cyclothon 2.0: On April 11th, Haryana's Chief Minister, Nayab Singh Saini, launched Cyclothon 2.0 from Faridabad. He participated in the campaign by cycling himself and flagged off the journey towards Gurugram.

Awareness Campaign for a Drug-Free Haryana

The objective of this cyclothon is to create a drug-free state. Cyclothon 2.0 began on April 5th in Hisar and is now spreading awareness against drug abuse across Haryana in a phased manner.

Party Leaders' Presence Boosts Enthusiasm

The journey commenced from the sports complex in Sector-12, Faridabad, where CM Saini was joined by Minister Rajesh Nagar, MLA Mulchand Sharma, MLA Dhanesh Adlakha, and several other senior party leaders. Prior to this, the journey had reached the Tigaon area on April 10th, where it was welcomed by the Food Minister.

Route and Key Stops of the Journey

The Cyclothon's route started from the Sector-12 sports complex and will proceed through Sector-15 Market, Bata Chowk, Ajronda Chowk, Neelam Flyover, BK Chowk, Mulla Hotel Chowk, Masjid Chowk, Sainik Colony Red Light, village Bhakhri, Pali, Mohabatabad, Dhauj, and Khori Jamalpur before heading towards Gurugram.

Message of Fitness and Social Responsibility

Cyclothon 2.0 is not just a cycling campaign; it has become a social movement promoting fitness, a clean environment, and social responsibility. This initiative to raise awareness against drug abuse and promote health among young people reflects the positive thinking of the Haryana government.
