Repeated technical issues with the spacecraft caused several postponements of her return to Earth. After spending approximately 286 days in space, she successfully returned to Earth at 3:27 AM (IST) on Wednesday.
This long and arduous journey not only set an example in the field of space science but also brought Williams greater global recognition. Mamata Banerjee stated, "Our daughter of India has returned safely. Her courage and perseverance have filled us with pride."
