Patna: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will undertake another visit to Bihar to further expedite development. In April, PM Modi will arrive in Patna, where he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for several significant projects. This includes the inauguration of the new Patna airport terminal and the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Bihta airport.
Expansion of Air Connectivity in Bihta
During this visit, the new Patna airport terminal will be inaugurated, providing enhanced facilities for air travelers. Furthermore, the foundation stone laying ceremony for the Bihta airport will mark a crucial step towards strengthening air connectivity in Bihar. Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary confirmed this, stating that the central government is continuously working to take Bihar to new heights of development.
3.8 Million New Employment Opportunities in the State
According to the Bihar government, 5 million new government jobs and employment opportunities will be created in the state. This includes 1.2 million government jobs and 3.8 million other employment opportunities. Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary stated that by 2027, Bihar's transportation infrastructure will be so developed that people will be able to easily reach Patna within four hours.
Significant Investment in Agriculture and Infrastructure
The Bihar government is implementing several new schemes to benefit farmers and traders. Cold storage facilities will be built in all blocks and sub-divisions to improve the preservation of agricultural products. Plans are also underway for pulse procurement and the opening of vegetable outlets to ensure farmers receive fair prices for their produce.
New Initiatives in Education and Healthcare
Over 300 new degree colleges will be established to promote higher education. Additionally, 300 more health centers will be built to strengthen healthcare services. There are also plans to open new medical colleges under the PPP model.
Enhanced Women's Safety and Expanded Transportation Facilities
Keeping in mind the safety and convenience of women, the Bihar government will launch a 'Pink Bus Service' exclusively for women. Furthermore, 'Gyms on Wheels' will be introduced in Patna to promote youth awareness about health and fitness.
Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary targeted the RJD and Congress, stating that the implementation of the Mandal Commission and reservation for the extremely backward classes were due to BJP policies. He highlighted the BJP's role in Bihar's development, emphasizing that the state's condition was extremely poor before 2005, but now Bihar is progressing rapidly.
