The application process for the second phase of the centrally-run Pradhan Mantri Internship Scheme (PM Internship Scheme 2024-25) has commenced. Candidates who missed the opportunity in the first phase can now apply online until March 12, 2025.

Education: The application process for the second phase of the centrally-run Pradhan Mantri Internship Scheme (PM Internship Scheme 2024-25) has begun. Candidates who were unable to participate in the first phase can now apply online until March 12, 2025. This time, 100,000 candidates will get the opportunity to intern with prestigious companies. Interested candidates can register for internships in their preferred district by visiting the website pminternship.mca.gov.in.

Who Can Apply?

* Applicant's age should be between 21 and 24 years.
* Candidates should not be enrolled in any full-time job or regular education program.
* Students pursuing distance learning and online courses can apply.
* Candidates who have studied at prestigious institutions like IITs, IIMs, NLUs, IIITs, IISERs, and NIDs are not eligible for this scheme.
* Candidates whose family's annual income exceeds ₹800,000 or whose family member is employed in a government job are not eligible to apply.

* Passport-size Photograph
* Other necessary documents (details will be provided during the application process)

How to Apply?

* Visit the official website pminternship.mca.gov.in.
* Click on the register link and register by filling in the required details.
* After logging in, upload the necessary documents and fill in other details.
* Review the form and submit.

Stipend Amount

According to the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, internships will be offered in 730 districts across the country in this phase. Selected candidates will have the opportunity to intern with prestigious companies across the nation. The government will provide a monthly financial assistance of ₹5,000 to the selected candidates under this scheme. Of this, ₹4,500 will be provided by the central government, while ₹500 will be provided from the companies' Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds.
