Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill played a magnificent innings of 90 runs, including 10 fours and 3 sixes off 55 balls. Sai Sudharsan also contributed significantly with a 52-run knock. The duo added 114 runs for the first wicket, while Jos Buttler's 41 runs further strengthened the team's position.

Expensive Bowling by KKR Bowlers

Kolkata Knight Riders' bowlers failed to contain the Gujarat batsmen. Vaibhav Arora and Harshit Rana proved expensive, conceding 44 and 45 runs respectively, while Andre Russell took one wicket for 13 runs. Gill and Sudharsan capitalized on these bowlers, scoring runs at a brisk pace.

KKR's Batting Failure

Chasing a target of 199 runs, KKR were bowled out for just 159. Prasidh Krishna and Rashid Khan bowled brilliantly, taking two wickets each and dismantling the KKR batting line-up. Mohammad Siraj, Ishant Sharma, Washington Sundar, and Sai Kishore also chipped in with a wicket each.
