The Story of the Jackal and the Magic Drum
Once upon a time, near a forest, two kings fought a battle. One king emerged victorious, and the other was defeated. A day after the war, a fierce storm arose, causing the drum used during the battle to roll into the forest and get stuck against a tree. Whenever b winds blew and the tree branches hit the drum, a loud "thud-thud-thud" sound echoed. In the same forest, a jackal was wandering in search of food, and his eyes fell upon a rabbit munching on a carrot. The jackal cautiously approached the rabbit to hunt it. As he lunged at the rabbit, the rabbit managed to slip the carrot into the jackal's mouth and escape. The jackal, somehow getting the carrot out of his mouth, heard a loud sound - the drum's resonant beat. This sound, unlike anything he had heard from an animal before, startled him.
Following the sound of the drum, the jackal went towards the source, trying to understand if it was a flying or walking animal. Approaching the drum, he leaped at it. A loud "thud" echoed, and the jackal leaped back, hiding behind the tree to observe. After a few minutes of no reaction, he attacked the drum again. Another "thud," and he retreated. However, this time, he paused and looked back. Finding no movement or sign of life from the drum, he understood it was not an animal. The jackal then began to jump on the drum, beating it rhythmically. The drum started to shake and roll. In the process, the jackal fell off the drum, and it split open in the middle. From the broken drum, various kinds of delicious food spilled out. The jackal satisfied his hunger by eating the food.
