In Mataur village of Alwar, an angry mob vandalized and set fire to the homes of two agents of a finance company. The villagers' anger was ignited by news that the company owner had absconded with crores of rupees. Five people have been arrested.

Alwar: On Wednesday night, an angry mob attacked the homes of two agents of Navansh India Nidhi Limited Finance Company in Mataur village, Khairthal-Tijara district, Rajasthan. The crowd pelted stones at the houses, vandalized them, and set several motorcycles on fire. Upon receiving information about the incident, police from four stations arrived at the scene, dispersed the crowd, and brought the situation under control. Police have arrested five people.

Fear of Navansh India Investors Losing Money

According to sources, on Wednesday night, an angry mob attacked the homes of Dataram and his brother in Mataur village. The crowd heavily pelted stones at the doors and windows of the houses and vandalized them. Additionally, several motorcycles parked outside the homes were set ablaze, burning completely to ashes.

Police stated that the locals' outrage was so intense that the situation was getting out of control. Upon receiving information, police from four stations immediately arrived at the scene and, after considerable effort, dispersed the crowd and calmed the situation.

Fear of Investors Losing Money

It is reported that villagers had invested their money in Navansh India Nidhi Limited Finance Company through agents. Recently, they received information that the company owner had absconded with crores of rupees.

This news spread panic among the villagers, and they feared that their deposits might also be lost. Villagers had been demanding their money back from the agents for a long time, but their anger erupted when no solution was found.

Police Arrest Five People

Immediately after the incident, the police registered a case and reached the spot to control the situation. Police have arrested five people, including key members of the agitated mob.

Police officials stated that a full investigation into the matter is underway, and legal action will be taken against the finance company's agents. The accused agents will also be questioned about what they did with the investors' money and their role in the company owner's abscondence.

Experts say that such incidents reduce villagers' trust in investments and financial institutions. The administration and police should work together to provide timely information and solutions in such cases.
