Chandigarh: Today (Thursday, September 25) marks a significant day for the women of Haryana. Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini's government is launching the 'Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana' today. Under this scheme, Rs 2,100 will be deposited into the bank accounts of eligible women every month. Registration for this scheme has begun today.
Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will also launch a mobile application from Panchkula, through which women can easily register for the scheme and avail its benefits.
Objective and Importance of the Scheme
The primary objective of the Lado Lakshmi Yojana is to strengthen the economic status of women in Haryana and make them self-reliant. Providing financial assistance to eligible women under this scheme will positively impact their household expenses, health, and education. The government has already allocated a budget of Rs 5000 crore for this scheme.

During the launch of the scheme, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini stated that women can complete their registration process by downloading the mobile app. The app is available on the Play Store and is very easy to download. Through the app, women will also have access to all scheme details, eligibility criteria, and installment information.
The Haryana government has urged citizens to download the app today and begin the process of availing the scheme's benefits. This is expected to enable eligible women to receive their first installment starting November 2025.
