Jaipur: A tragic incident has come to light in Nasopur village, located in the Bagad Tiraha police station area of Alwar (Rajasthan) district, where 22-year-old Ayesha died by suicide after consuming poison. According to the police, the deceased's family has alleged that a young man named Sabir had been in phone contact with Ayesha for three months and mentally harassed her, leading her to take this extreme step.
Her family stated that Ayesha's first marriage was in 2020 to Aalim, a resident of Doba, Haryana, which ended in divorce after two years. Subsequently, she was married a second time to Taufiq, but this relationship also broke down within a year. After two divorces, Ayesha was living with her parents. Police have initiated an investigation into the allegations of suicide and abetment, and questioning of relevant individuals is ongoing.
Financial Dispute Deepened
According to the family, tension over money had been escalating between Ayesha and Sabir for the past few months. It is alleged that Sabir had borrowed approximately 40,000 rupees from her, which he consistently avoided returning. Meanwhile, whenever Ayesha asked for the money, she was subjected to mental pressure and taunts. The family claims that this pressure increased her sense of insecurity.
The situation worsened on Saturday evening when Ayesha, allegedly distressed by Sabir's behavior, consumed a poisonous substance. Her family immediately rushed her to the hospital, but doctors were unable to save her. Police began an on-site investigation and sent the body for post-mortem examination.
Police Investigation Intensifies
Upon receiving information about the incident, police arrived at the scene and conducted a post-mortem examination after forensic investigation. Police have recorded the statements of the family members, reiterating the allegations against Sabir for abetment to suicide and financial fraud.
Preliminary investigation has confirmed a dispute related to financial transactions. Police are now scrutinizing call details, chats, and digital evidence related to the transactions. Officials state that given the seriousness of the allegations, a fair and swift investigation is underway, which will determine further action.
