Senior officials from intelligence agencies and the Ministry of Home Affairs participated in this meeting. The progress of the investigation into the terrorist attack and the security arrangements across the country were reviewed during the meeting. Shah clearly instructed officials that those involved in this attack should be arrested as soon as possible and that the nation's security must not be compromised at any cost.

The meeting was attended by the DG of NIA, the Director of Intelligence Bureau (IB), the Home Secretary, and the Delhi Police Commissioner. A detailed overview of the security situation in the national capital, as well as other major cities across the country, was presented during the meeting. The Home Minister instructed all agencies to increase vigilance in sensitive areas and take concrete steps to prevent potential terrorist activities.
Amit Shah Stays in Delhi After Cancelling Gujarat Tour

Home Minister Amit Shah's proposed Gujarat tour for Thursday has been cancelled. He was scheduled to inaugurate the Ahmedabad Food Festival and the Ahmedabad International Book Festival 2025. According to BJP officials, Shah decided to stay in Delhi to monitor the situation, given the blast in Delhi and the seriousness of the security situation.
Shah Might Join Events via Video Conferencing
BJP leader and Gandhinagar Lok Sabha constituency spokesperson, Bimal Joshi, stated that Amit Shah was also invited to the inauguration ceremony of Dudhsagar Dairy in Mehsana. Joshi added that while the Home Minister's Ahmedabad and Mehsana visits have been cancelled, there is a possibility that he might participate in these events via video conferencing.

At least 12 people died and several were injured in a car explosion near the Red Fort on Monday evening. Immediately after the blast, Amit Shah visited the site and directed security agencies to expedite the investigation. On Tuesday, he held two security review meetings to ensure the pace of the investigation and the robustness of security measures.

The Home Minister also directed investigating agencies to reach every individual involved in this attack and uncover their motives. Furthermore, he ordered an increase in security arrangements and surveillance in important government establishments, historical sites, and crowded areas across the country, including Delhi.
