Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar's son, Arjun Tendulkar, has made a sensational comeback after a seven-month break from the sport. The left-arm pace bowler, Arjun, picked up a wicket on the very first ball of his latest spell and went on to claim 5 wickets in the innings.

The Mumbai Indians all-rounder took a wicket on the first ball of his spell and ended up with a total of five wickets. Furthermore, he made a valuable contribution of 36 runs with the bat. Arjun participated in the second round of the Dr. (Capt) K. Thimmaiah Memorial Tournament, organized by the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA), and impressed everyone with his performance. Representing Goa in this tournament, Arjun delivered a stellar performance against Maharashtra.
Arjun Tendulkar took a wicket on the first ball
Arjun Tendulkar participated in the second round of the Dr. (Capt) K. Thimmaiah Memorial Tournament, organized by the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA). In this tournament, representing Goa, Arjun performed brilliantly against Maharashtra. He dismissed Maharashtra's opener, Aniruddh Sabale, on his very first delivery. Following this, he trapped Sabale's opening partner, Mahesh Maske, lbw. Arjun's incisive bowling put Maharashtra on the back foot by delivering early blows to Goa.
His spell saw him bowl Digvijay Patil, while he further sharpened his bowling prowess by dismissing Mehul Patel twice. Arjun ultimately secured his fifth wicket of the innings by getting Nadeem Sheikh out. Maharashtra's team was bowled out for a mere 136 runs.
Arjun Tendulkar made a valuable contribution with the bat
After an outstanding performance with the ball, Arjun also strengthened the team with his batting. He came in to bat at number nine and scored 36 runs in just 44 balls. In Goa's innings, Abhinav Tejran (77), Darshan Misal (61), and Mohit Redkar (58) scored half-centuries, helping the team reach a total of 333 runs. Arjun's all-round performance proved that he is not just a fast bowler but also a match-changing player.
Arjun Tendulkar has also played for Maharashtra in domestic cricket. He represented Maharashtra in the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 tournament. In 2022, he joined Goa and has been playing for them ever since.
