Ambedkar Nagar / Ayodhya — In view of the preparations for Deepotsav in Ayodhya, special traffic management will be implemented from 12 AM tomorrow, October 18. During this period, the entry of heavy vehicles will be completely restricted, and they will be diverted through new routes.
Key Diversion Points
Vehicles traveling from Gorakhpur-Azamgarh to Ayodhya will now be diverted via the Purvanchal Expressway. Heavy vehicles coming from the Sant Kabir Nagar-Basti route will proceed via Ghanghata → Bidhar Ghat → Ramnagar to Nyaurijalalpur.
Vehicles traveling from Azamgarh / Baskhari to Ayodhya will head towards the Purvanchal Expressway via Nyaotariya Bypass → Akbarpur.
In Akbarpur city, Malipur Road Bypass, Jalalpur Road Bypass, Baskhari Road Nyaotariya Bypass, Tanda Road Katariya ‒ all these will serve as diversion routes.
On Dhanteras and Diwali, vehicular entry will be completely prohibited, especially on the Shahzadpur Chowk route. Only pedestrian movement will be allowed on this route.
