He has been admitted to a private hospital in Delhi, where he is receiving complete medical supervision. Azam Khan was unable to appear in the MP-MLA Court on Thursday for a hearing in a case against him. His lawyer had filed an application for exemption from appearance in court, stating that his health was extremely poor and he required medical assistance.

Doctors state that his condition is currently stable, and he has been advised complete rest.
