Bankipur Assembly by-election witnessed heightened political activity on the nomination day, with candidates carrying out their scheduled programmes before filing their nomination papers. Prashant Kishor (PK) began his election campaign after offering prayers, while the BJP candidate paid tribute to the late father of senior BJP leader Nitin Nabin before proceeding with the nomination process.
Political leaders and supporters from various parties remained active from the morning ahead of the nomination process. Candidates left for the nomination venue with their supporters according to their scheduled programmes. In view of security arrangements, the district administration deployed additional police personnel at the Collectorate and surrounding areas.
