A woman in Begusarai has alleged serious lapses in administrative functioning, stating that despite filing a complaint, she has received no cooperation at the police station level and has been unable to access the concerned Circle Officer at the circle office.
The complainant said she has been repeatedly visiting government offices seeking justice but has faced disappointment at every stage.
According to the woman, she first submitted a written complaint at the local police station regarding her issue, but the police neither treated the matter with seriousness nor took any concrete action. She alleged that despite multiple visits to the station, she received only verbal assurances, with no investigation or necessary steps initiated.
She further alleged that due to the matter being related to land and administrative documents, she approached the circle office, but encountered similar difficulties there. The complainant said that on several visits, the Circle Officer was not present in the office. Staff members reportedly informed her that the officer was either in meetings or outside the office, resulting in her complaint remaining unresolved.
The woman said that when grievances are not addressed at the lower levels, ordinary citizens are left with no clear avenue for redress. She has demanded a fair inquiry into her complaint and has urged the administration to issue directions to responsible officials to take grievances seriously. She also stated that the lack of timely cooperation is complicating her case further.
Local residents said this was not an isolated incident and that similar cases frequently emerge in which complainants are forced to move between police stations and circle offices. They said timely hearings and action could resolve many disputes at an early stage.
The complainant said she now plans to approach senior officials regarding her grievance. She stated that if she does not receive justice at the local level, she will appeal to the district administration and other competent authorities.
