Varanasi - Banaras Hindu University (BHU) is organizing a series of competitions and events to foster a sense of patriotism among its students and ensure their participation in the national celebrations of Republic Day.
The university administration has organized an essay competition on the theme of ‘Vande Mataram’ to engage students with the Republic Day festivities. Students are requested to submit their entries by December 31st. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three participants who demonstrate outstanding performance in the competition.
Furthermore, the university has launched a painting competition on the theme of ‘Self-Reliant India,’ where students will express their creativity and understanding of the subject through artistic representations.
As part of the university’s plan, the top 200 participants will be invited, along with a companion, to witness the Republic Day parade in New Delhi on January 26th. This will provide students with a firsthand experience of the national festival and inspire them with patriotism.
BHU states that such initiatives will not only strengthen the spirit of nationalism among students but also promote social awareness and creative talent.
